Donations from trusts and foundations

Trusts and foundations play a vital role in helping many of our mental health support projects.

As an independent, self-financing charity we rely on donations to carry out vital work within our community. Much of the really important work we do – such as that with older people in Bognor and Chichester, our community awareness/anti-stigma activities, and Families in Mind project - are funded entirely by fundraising and donations.

These projects support people at the very heart of our community. But they simply cannot continue without ongoing support from charitable trusts and foundations. In these uncertain times, people need us more and more.

We have been lucky in the past to receive funding from large grant-giving organisations including the Big Lottery Fund and Awards for All, as well as small, sometimes locally-focused trusts. But we are constantly applying to a wide range of bodies to make sure the projects we started can continue to support people with their mental health after the original grant has been spent.
