We're aiming to raise £50,000 so we can reach more people facing difficulties with their mental health. The pandemic is causing an increase in people of all ages seeking support, for a whole host of reasons including financial pressures, bereavement, isolation and anxiety.
Young people can be especially affected, with trouble studying in isolation at home, separation from friends and family, anxiety and depression. Meanwhile, the older generation also face isolation and loneliness which can impact on their mental well-being. Then there are new mums, some of whom have gone through traumatic labours without their partners' support, who now have postnatal depression.
Our parental mental health work, older people's support and youth service all rely on fundraising to continue. If you are able, please help us reach our £50,000 target, in this, our 50th anniversary year.
