Payroll giving

Payroll giving allows any UK taxpayers to regularly give to a charity of their choice on a tax-free basis

Mental health issues affect us all at some point in our lives: directly through personal experience, or indirectly through family, friends and colleagues. Depression, anxiety and extreme stress can all take their toll, affecting our work as well as relationships.

Payroll giving schemes – taken at source by employers - provide invaluable regular payments, helping West Sussex Mind to continue supporting anyone who needs us.

Employers:

Show your employees – and customers – you care about good mental health by setting up a payroll giving scheme:

Employees:

Let your employer know you want to help us by asking them to set up a scheme through a government-approved agency.

  • regular monthly donations are deducted before tax, so basic rate taxpayers only have to donate 80p for us to receive £1 (60p for higher-rate earners).
  • your employer sets up everything – all you have to do is sign up to the scheme.
