Community Champion

We're seeking a volunteer to identify and support individuals living with serious mental illness who are not accessing services

Skills and requirements: Good communication skills, understanding of boundaries, able to work within the scope of confidentiality. Motivated, friendly and approachable. To respect and identify anyone experiencing a mental health problem. To empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. To wear a champions badge or lanyard when undertaking the champion role. To raise awareness and promote understanding. To provide supportive and reliable information. To assist someone to access excellent care and services.

Location: Volunteering will involve living or working in the Littlehampton area.

Hours: This will depend on Champion's availability. Minimum of one hour per week required.
