West Sussex Mind believes that people who have lived experiences of having mental health problems or caring for someone with a mental health problem should be fully involved in decision making, the forming of policy and planning, and the running of our services. Ensuring that some of our trustees have this lived experience and or are using our services is a vital way of helping us to achieve this.
We are, therefore, looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals with this experience to become trustees. As a trustee you will help us to oversee and develop the work of the Charity, engage with the community and also to assure the quality of what we are doing. Please note that a trustee is a volunteer role and is not paid but all expenses are reimbursed. In addition, all trustees are offered regular learning, development and support.
You will need to be able commit to spend at least a day or two a month as a trustee and have a keen interest in and passion to develop into this role.
For an informal discussion about the role contact Chris Arkell by email: email@example.com
Please email completed applications to: firstname.lastname@example.org
We are always interested to hear from individuals who feel they could make a contribution as a trustee but for this round of recruitment the closing date for applications is: Monday 6th January 2020.
No one should have to face a mental health problem alone. We’re a charity and rely on your support to continue our work. Find out how you can donate and give someone hope.Donations
