We are setting up a new, much-needed evening and weekend service in central Worthing, called Safe Haven, which will create several exciting opportunities to work for us.
Safe Haven will provide a supportive out-of-hours service specifically aimed at individuals who are struggling to cope when other mental health services are not available. West Sussex Mind will be running this service as a member of the Pathfinder Alliance.
There are lots of reasons people choose to work for us and we have extremely high levels of staff satisfaction here at West Sussex Mind. In our recent survey, 97% of staff described their level of job satisfaction as high and 97% said they felt happy and content regarding their role.
We actively encourage people with a lived experience of a mental health challenge to join our friendly workforce. We are also flexible about the hours worked to fit around your life.
"I like the fact that I am involved in an organisation that is predominantly aimed at helping people and making the world a better place. This gives me a wonderful sense of helping to achieve something good"
