Help-point, Social Support and Volunteering Services Manager

Salary range £31,374 - £33,462 per annum

We are looking to recruit a dynamic and creative individual to lead the management of a cluster of new and developing service areas for West Sussex Mind. These are a new advice, information and sign-posting service (Help-point) and a new community social support offer. Alongside this the role will also manage our volunteer co-ordinator and work within the organisation to significantly increase the involvement of volunteers in what we do.

At this time these areas have never been more important to us and we need someone who is a good service manager but also has the drive and desire to develop new services working collaboratively with our service users and staff to do this.

The successful candidate may be an established manager looking for a change or an experienced senior worker or team leader looking to progress but successful applicants will need to evidence:

  • Their skills and ability to manage and develop a staff team
  • Their skills and abilities in developing services and leading change
  • Their understanding of and commitment to our vision and work
