Are you an experienced health and social care manager who enjoys seeking out business development opportunities and driving innovation.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Full time salary: Grade 7 £42,480.75

Location: Littlehampton preferred base (with the expectation to work several days from other offices and potential for some homeworking)

Holiday Entitlement: 25 days per year rising to 27 days after 2 years

Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and creative leader to manage our Community Mental Health Services and support us to create opportunities to develop services to reach new audiences.

Leading staff based across our service locations you will oversee and manage the delivery of high quality, mental health services all of which rely on the input and support of a fantastic team of volunteers.

Our Communities and Inclusion service supports us to reach people who may not be accessing our services and to test new approaches and ways of working to remove barriers and tackle inequalities. Our Training ensures our teams have a comprehensive training programme and that our external training service delivers high quality training that helps reduce stigma around mental health in our local communities. And our Volunteering service supports West Sussex Mind to recruit, train and retain volunteers, with ambition around creating more Peer Volunteer roles, so our service users can use their lived experience to support others.

The successful candidate will:

  • have significant experience of developing and winning new business opportunities be a confident leader of staff and passionate about developing services in collaboration with staff, volunteers and service users
  • understand the causes of inequality and be passionate about creating new services or opportunities to address these inequalities
