We have an exciting opportunity to join our Families in Mind team supporting the mental health and well-being of parents and carers of young children across Worthing, Adur and Arun. Do you have personal experience of caring for children alongside managing difficulties with your own mental health? This might include personal experience of post-natal mental health issues, using mental health services and an understanding of mental health recovery.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support the provision of face to face or video conference structured group sessions to parents around mental health and well-being
  • Facilitate and develop the giving and receiving of peer support
  • Contribute to the achievement of parent's goals and be an active member of the staff team.

There are currently groups offered across Worthing and Adur on a Tuesday – Thursday and the role could be delivered in school hours. We would welcome some flexibility around working hours across weekends occasionally as we support service users to access various community events.
