Passionate about mental health recovery work? West Sussex Mind has a vacancy for a Mental Health Worker in its Adur Pathfinder Service – based at the Corner House, Southwick with people aged 18 and over.

Hours: 30 hours per week

Salary: £17,064.00

Location: Southwick

West Sussex Mind is a local mental health charity committed to promoting mental well-being in local communities and supporting the recovery and independence of individuals we provide support to. We are looking for a part-time Mental Health Worker to join our busy and exciting mental health service in Southwick.

Successful applicants will provide recovery focused 1:1 and group support and learning opportunities as well as assisting peer led support within services.

As well as having some experience of working with people with mental health problems, post-holders will need to demonstrate enthusiasm and passion for recovery focused mental health work and show that they can be a strong team player with real commitment to their work. They will also need to have initiative and be able to contribute to the direction and development of the service.
