Training on mental health in the workplace

Course summary

  • One-day course option
  • Three-hour workshop option

Course content

Six main areas to be covered:

  • the signs of stress in the workforce
  • main signs and symptoms of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and psychosis.
  • the processes for managing and supervising staff with mental health conditions, including managing disclosure
  • how to manage staff absence as it relates to mental health issues
  • appropriate return to work processes and support, including reasonable adjustments.
