Course summary

  • One-hour workshop option 
  • Three-hour course option

Course content

Seven main areas to be covered:

  • physiology of stress and how this can affect the mind and body
  • activites that activate an 'anti-stress' response with the vagus nerve
  • recognising and monitoring stress levels
  • five ways to well-being
  • benefits of meditation on health
  • stress-busting techniques that are useful when you have low energy
  • participation in a mindfulness exercise.
