Mental Health Awareness Week report

Littlehampton event

We had many conversations during MHA Week, including those started by our young people from Littlehampton who were out at our wellness box and mental health stall

Champion Nick speaks at our Mental Health Awareness Week special event at Midhurst.
Scores of people across Worthing, Midhurst, Littlehampton, Bognor and Chichester had conversations about mental health with our staff and volunteers at all our events across West Sussex to mark Mental Health Awareness Week.
Mini wellness boxes were decorated and filled as part of our anti-stigma campaign, Human Kindness for Open Mindness.
Several people who spoke with us about their own mental health problems have referred themselves and will now be getting support from Coastal West Sussex Mind.
The campaign to raise awareness and challenge attitudes and behaviour around mental health reached hundreds of people, in person at our various events during the week, and online.
