Lots of fun activities for you at our well-being day in Midhurst

September 2021

West Sussex Mind is holding a well-being day packed with activities to promote mental health awareness

We will be welcoming the public to The Grange in Midhurst on Sunday September 19 with a special event as part of our Moving Minds campaign.

There will be activities for all ages with roller skating in the morning and taster sessions including yoga, singing, table tennis, badminton, crafts and kite making. These sessions represent just a few of the many activity groups we run to support those with mental health problems in Midhurst and beyond. Kite making was chosen as the theme of the Moving Minds campaign as a metaphor for rising above these problems. Making and flying kites is also a lot of fun!

The event is an opportunity to find out more about our charity and the services we offer in the area. Our Midhurst services operate out of The Grange and the nearby Catholic Church Hall on Bepton Road. The well-being day is also a great way to discover what opportunities are available for anyone interested in becoming a local volunteer.

Our Moving Minds campaign is part of our Open Minds anti-stigma and awareness project. We want to make sure people know where to get support and, moreover, ensure stigma does not prevent people from getting that support.

The well-being day takes place from 10am to 4pm at The Grange, Bepton Rd, Midhurst GU29 9HD.

If you wish to take part in the roller skating, please book your place with The Grange the day before on 01730 815285.
