Day in and day out, we're continuing to help people with mental health problems. But we couldn't do it without the funds raised by our amazing supporters. Why not set up your own event - it could be the best fun you've had all year!

Money raised by our wonderful supporters directly helps us reach more people and some of our projects are entirely funded by fundraising. So we rely greatly on your generosity and support.

We are affiliated to national Mind but are a separate charity so any funds donated to Mind will not come to us. Please support us, your local mental health charity - West Sussex Mind.

There are so many ways to raise money, as an individual, with colleagues or as part of a group - the only limit is your imagination! See below for some ideas.

If you've already made up your mind about how to fundraise, please register your event with us so we can support you all the way.

The one-to-one support I had was really helpful because it made me feel that someone cared and that I was being listened to.

Fundraising ideas

There are plenty of ways to raise money and get everyone involved. Here are some popular ideas:

Auctions and raffles
These can be very effective at raising money - and easy to do online versions too. You will find many local businesses who are happy to donate prizes too. Ask our community fundraising team about this.

Quiz nights
Question 1: What's a fun way to get people together and raise money for West Sussex Mind at the same time? Answer: Have a quiz night! They are simple to organise.

Gaming night
Get your friends over - or do online - and get gaming. There are several ways to raise money while gaming. Find out more here.

Cake sales and coffee mornings
Who doesn't enjoy a slice of cake? These are simple and a great way to get people together.

Birthday donations
Ask your friends and family to make a donation to West Sussex Mind this year instead of buying you a present. You can set up a birthday donations page through our fundraising platform here.

Sponsored slim/run/cycle/head shave...
Pick your challenge or event and ask everyone to support you. You can set up a fundraising page for it too here.

In a group, club or team? Maybe you could...
Hold a family fun day
Put on a quiz
Hold a charity football match
