It’s that time of year when business owners might be thinking about supporting a charity that means something to them or their employees.
Giving to charity makes smart business sense on lots of fronts. It’s a great way to raise the profile of your organisation among potential customers and to boost your reputation. Not only that, but organising an event or activity in aid of a charity can create a feel-good factor and sense of common good among employees, boosting team work and staff morale.
There are so many ways businesses can raise funds to support our mental health work – whether it’s putting on your own activity, taking part in an organised event or as a corporate supporter. The donations we receive from companies of all sizes – through direct donations, fundraising activities and participation in our training events for businesses – allows us to be here to help everyone with their mental health, and particularly at this crucial time.
There are lots of ways you could support us:
- We could become your charity of the year
- Why not combine team-building with fundraising, and get a group together to participate in a sporting event? This could be something local, like a mini-golf or football tournament, or something that requires more commitment. Some challenging events coming up locally include West Worthing 5k or 10k run, Sunday March 10; Brighton 10k or 50k Bike Ride, Sunday April 10; Worthing Runfest, 10k or half marathon, Sunday April 24; Brighton Colour Obstacle Run, Saturday May 14
- If you run corporate events, you could hold a collection for us
- Host a golf day.
Our fundraising team is on hand to advise you and we can supply information leaflets, collection tins and buckets as well as supporter T-shirts.
