West Sussex Mind has partnered with Farewill, a leading will writing company, to offer people the chance to write a will free of charge. We have a limited number of free wills available, but we hope that people may take the opportunity to leave a gift to West Sussex Mind as part of their will.
You can write your will online (with phone and online chat support) or over the phone with one of the Farewill team, saving you time and money to put in place plans to protect your family and the next generation. There is also a will update service available, so there is no need to get your will right first time and it can be easily updated as changes in your life unfold.
Writing a will can be a time-consuming task and it is something that many of us endlessly put off. But planning ahead for loved ones, children and grandchildren is hugely important to ensure that you take care of the people who matter to you most. Creating a will with assistance from the Farewill team takes as little as 30 minutes and the service is suitable for anyone who has wishes – for their pets, children, belongings or funeral arrangements.
While there is no obligation to leave a legacy to West Sussex Mind in your will, we really hope that you will consider doing so. Mental health is an issue that touches so many of us and leaving a donation to West Sussex Mind in your will can make a huge difference to someone with a mental health issue.
To create your free will online, visit our Farewill web page and use the code WSM-WEB at checkout. Alternatively, if you prefer to make your will on the phone, you can make an appointment with a Farewill consultant. Or call Farewill direct on 020 8050 2686 quoting West Sussex Mind and the team will book you in for a consultation.
The online service takes you through a short series of questions, taking just 15 minutes, and Farewill will be able to create your will for you. Your will is then checked by Farewill’s legal experts who approve it for you to print, sign and have it witnessed. Note that this online service is only available in England and Wales, while the phone service is available to all those living in the United Kingdom.
Good luck – and we hope that you will remember our work.
