Building resilient communities together: our strategy 2025-2030 is live!

April 2025

We're proud to share our new co-produced strategy

Our new five-year strategy outlines our vision, mission and strategic aims for 2025-2030. It is the culmination of 18 months of research, surveys, trustee away-days and strategy roadshows and has been fully co-produced in consultation with our trustees, service users, partners, employees and volunteers.

The strategy builds on the progress we’ve made over the last five years and looks at where we are now and where we want to be in five years’ time to address the mental health challenges faced by our local communities.

The strategy includes a bold new mission

“Together with those experiencing mental health problems, we will build inclusive and empowering mental health services, reduce barriers to support and challenge stigma.”

Five strategic aims

It is built around five strategic aims with multiple goals under each aim:

  • Co-producing high-quality mental health services
  • Addressing health inequalities
  • Tackling mental health stigma
  • Building an inclusive and supportive organisation for employees, trustees and volunteers
  • Ensuring that our organisation is innovative, efficient and financially secure.

And it includes meaningful metrics by which we will measure our progress and impact over the next five years.

“I’m super-proud of how everyone engaged so actively in developing our new strategy. I’m honoured that our employees, service users, volunteers and partners all felt they had a part to play... These contributions have given us important guidance and a positive steer for the next five years.”

“We’re confident that our co-produced strategy will ensure that we can meet the mental health needs of our communities over the next five years and we will work in partnership to achieve that, building more healthy and resilient communities together.”
