As someone who is a natural human rights activist in almost everything I am as a person, being part of the co-production work at West Sussex Mind sits really well with my beliefs and mission as part of our community.
In my current role as communities and inclusion manager at West Sussex Mind, it is my duty to support the development of organisational plans and priorities around community awareness raising, anti-stigma and equality, diversity and inclusion work.
Having worked with some of the most marginalised people, experiencing multiple disadvantages, in West Sussex over the last 10 years, and having learned from my closest friends who are all either on the autistic spectrum and/or have ADHD, I feel confident that the work of the EDI panel will help West Sussex Mind reach more people in the community.
