Many people experience social isolation and this impacts their mental health and well-being. We help people over 65 in Bognor, Chichester, Lancing, Southwick and surrounding areas who are feeling low, have depression, anxiety or other mental health needs, especially if they are isolated.
The team, which includes our amazing volunteers, can help you with:
- In person one-to-one support
- Support on the phone or online
- Social activities - in person and online - such as arts and crafts, gentle walks and picnics, quizzes, bingo and other games
- Mindfulness and mental well-being sessions.
Our experienced service manager, Jo Bulis, is supported by the co-ordinator and team of trained volunteers and mental health workers.
Our social meetings are an opportunity to chat with others in a friendly and relaxed environment.
All our different sessions, whether focusing on creativity, conversation, outdoor activities, physical or mental well-being, aim to increase confidence, self-esteem and encourage independence.
