What's on in Midhurst

If you're in the Midhurst area and looking for support with your mental health, we can help. Our team offers support in person, on the phone or via video call and runs groups to help you better manage your mental health

Our Pathfinder support hub in Midhurst offers face-to-face and online individual sessions, group sessions to socialise with others and learning and development workshops.

We run group development sessions, where you can learn coping strategies to manage depression and anxiety, build self-esteem and improve communication skills. We also offer courses, such as Well-being Action Planning, Mental Health Toolkit and five ways to well-being.

In addition, we run social activities where you can meet others and build confidence as part of your recovery journey. Our face-to-face and online social activities in Midhurst include:

  • gentle exercise (our 'Out and About' group)
  • poetry
  • quizzes
  • get togethers
  • badminton
  • "Active Minds", a group for people with early stages of memory loss.

You can also join other online sessions which operate across our West Sussex Mind support areas, providing more opportunities to socialise and to take part in learning and development workshops.

For the full programme, see our social activities timetable.

We have a private Facebook group for adults who get support with us in Midhurst and Chanctonbury and a separate Facebook group for young people, aged 16 to 25, across West Sussex Mind. And we produce a monthly newsletter, which includes our programme of activities, tips on coping strategies, and contributions of art, recipes and poetry.

Our team can help you with:

  • advice and information about your mental health and about other services
  • some one-to-one support to set goals and review your progress
  • focused learning and development workshops led by staff and trained peer volunteers
  • practical help from a peer volunteer.

All sessions will help you achieve your goals around improving mental and physical well-being and support your personal development.
