Menopause at work

Menopausal women are the fastest-growing demographic in the workplace, with symptoms possible from early 40s, and managers play a vital role in supporting colleagues.

We offer two workshops around Menopause Awareness, one general session for all staff, and one aimed at managers to help them to support their staff who are going through the menopause, and perimenopause.

For employees

Workshop covering the common symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, where to get support, building coping strategies and how to build a menopause friendly culture.

For leadership teams

Workshop for leadership teams covering the common symptoms of perimenopause and menopause, where to guide employees for support and how to build a menopause friendly culture.

Sessions are 1.5 hours long and we recommend that they are face to face rather than online. We suggest that the employee session is run before the leadership teams session.

The session given by Ali was very well received by our staff. They found it informative and helpful, with real life examples, and they appreciated the useful links to external resources, specialist organisations and self-help tips. Ali gave practical advice to our managers on how to broach this sensitive topic in a supportive way with relevant staff in their teams. We will be recommending this training to others in our Trust.
